COLEGIO HISPANO BRITÁNICO
has a Spanish name but is very much a British school.
There are some fifty other British schools in Spain, all with very English names, but none of them have the quantity of British pupils that we have, none of them teach our number of GCSE or A-level subjects and none of them place all their students in British universities.
We admit some 400 students from the age of three to eighteen, with a maximum of 16 per class. We teach the full British curriculum with the addition of the Spanish language course as taught in Spanish state schools and the inclusion of the history and geography of Spain in our international history and geography courses.
The basic school day starts at 9.30 in the morning and finishes at 3.30 in the afternoon. There is a mid-morning break of 20 minutes and an hour for lunch; the rest of the day is divided into seven lessons of 40 minutes. The subjects taught at each teaching level are distributed amongst the 35 lessons in each week according to our curriculum and lesson plan.
